Hallelujah! Our North Island Baptist Church members put together over 40 Christmas Backpacks for the Appalachian Christmas Backpack Ministry last year. The ministry seeks to meet the physical and spiritual needs of children living in Appalachian areas and are distributed during events where the Gospel message is shared.

We have begun collecting backpacks for 2023. Our timeline is relatively short this year, so please assist us in being able to give some great backpacks to children this Christmas. Backpacks need to be delivered to the church by the last Sunday in November (26 November), so start your shopping now. The completed backpacks will be delivered to the Association Office the following week for distribution to needed children.
